本中心再強調：兩三個月的催眠課程並非醫學/大專院校的證書，絕不能考取醫學/臨床/大學學位或證書。

1. Question: I refer to different websites and find that there are many different certifications. How should I choose the right course?
answer︰When choosing a hypnosis course, you should not decide whether to enroll in the course based on the number of certificates, but you should choose the course that suits you based on the recognition of the course.Generally recognized institutions come from the United States, such as: 220-hour certified IMDHA International Dental and Medical Association, 200-hour MASTER HYPNOTHERAPY certified PBH Canadian Hypnotist Association, 120-hour certified NGH Society, etc. Some certificates without accreditation are issued by the center, such as: some unknown Asian Hypnosis Association, China Hypnosis Association, Hypnosis Examination Board and so on. Learners can judge the authenticity by themselves.

2. Question: When was the Professional Psychotherapy (Hong Kong) Center established? Will it be an intermediary organization?
Answer: our centerFounded in 2013 by a group of social workers, art therapists, psychologists, doctoral supervisors, etc., has been rooted in Hong Kong and Kowloon, and our main teaching place is Sunlian Building next to Hang Seng Bank in Central. Before the establishment of the Professional Psychotherapy (Hong Kong) Center, we have held many lectures in different universities, such as: Hong Kong University, City University, etc., and also held many lectures in different NGOs, primary and secondary schools, etc., to promote the popularization of hypnosis education .

3. Question: Why do many organizations charge for several sessions or the entire counseling session, claiming immediate results, while you charge per session?
Answer: Many hypnosis institutions or centers advertise a one-time fee. Our center has never paid a one-off fee for psychological counseling, because the client may feel that hypnosis is not effective for his case. If the one-off payment cannot be refunded, the client can only "force" hypnosis, which may not be effective.Therefore, all the counseling in our center is charged per session, there is no one-time fee, and there are no other hidden fees. If hypnosis is not suitable, other methods can also be tried.
4. Question: What is a professional? Hypnosis is divided into professional and non-professional? Isn't it just a certificate?
Answer: In the process of learning hypnosis, teachers are a very important factor. In some courses, the qualifications of the instructors who teach are uneven, which leads to the students or fail to realize the authenticity of hypnosis. Some courses may be mainly based on stage hypnosis, and some courses may only be paid to obtain a certificate.But hypnotherapy is a kind of counseling technique, and it also needs some correct counseling techniques to carry out some in-depth and effective psychological treatments. In addition to emphasizing theory, the center pays more attention to practice. 5. Question: What are the special features of the courses offered by the center? Why choose you?

answer︰The center is a registered and licensed center of different foreign certification agencies. It has trained many hypnosis professionals for many years, such as: doctors, nurses, Chinese medicine practitioners, social workers, psychologists, Hong Kong representative teams, athletes, engineers, etc. Many students graduated Later also engaged in related industries.At present, the original 1998 hypnosis teaching materials may still be used in the market, but the time is long, and many theories are out of date. 10. Question: Why don't you make some short videos and videos to promote the Internet?
Answer: Hypnosis is not an exaggerated technique, nor is it a show. It cannot control others or force them to do things they don't want to do. Hypnosis is not a kind of commercial behavior, so it should not be exaggerated. 11. Why do many courses or hypnotists claim to be clinical hypnotists, but you don't? Are your courses not "clinical"?

If there are any mistakes or omissions, please let me know. Nine out of ten "hypnosis instructors" in Hong Kong are all named "clinical hypnotist". Our center tries to make the following definition. There is currently no regulation of clinical hypnosis practice in Hong Kong.In theory, it is not illegal for anyone to call himself a clinical hypnotist, but it is misleading.
According to the definition of "The American Society of Clinical Hypnosis", the authoritative American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, clinical hypnosis has the following standards:

12. 問︰讀畢催眠課程可否進行治療與教人?
答︰坊間對於催眠師的執業並無既定標準，因為催眠治療師都屬於私人執業性質。值得注意的是修讀課程後，可獲得國際認證註冊催眠治療師證書，但不代表可立即「治療」人。作為一個專業輔導員如 : 社工，他們需就讀至少二年全職的碩士課程或四年的高等教育才可畢業，取得社工牌照，並由社工註冊局頒發。此課程可作為一個輔導入門或掌握催眠的課程。不少學員可以此證書作為個人履歷，如︰一般的老師會認識教育手法，但未必認識輔導手法，此課程可全面提升他們對輔導的認識；此外，有些從事輔導行業或心理學相關學科的學員，在取得證書後，開展與本科學歷相關的事業。
13. 問︰催眠師有甚麼專業資格?
答︰嚴格上來說，香港並無催眠師的註冊制度。催眠師就好像從前的中醫師一樣不受管制。任何人也可稱自己為「醫師」。當「中醫」需求增加，愈多的人註冊，受到重視，嚴密的發牌制度也應運而生。如是觀，在中國流行很多心理諮詢師或其他心理分析師，在國內認證並不等於在香港也受到認證。這些「諮詢師」大多以私人執業性質，但他們並不能以此作學歷的依據，在社福機構或者在政府的機構工作，除非他們本身具有相關的學歷。
14. 問︰催眠師的出路？收入水平？ 副業？
答︰嚴格來說，大多在香港成立的催眠機構屬於私人機構，一般學員如需在課程畢業後從事相關行業，除了個人的催眠輔導工作外，亦可應用在各行各業中。有些同學亦會持續進修至催眠導師，建立自己的品牌及發證機構，頒發外國的證書。至於在收入水平方面，則沒有明確的標準，一般個案輔導的收費由250元至1500元一小時不等，而催眠課程一般介乎一萬元或以上。至於，催眠師的收入，則很視乎導師本身的質素或是否有人報讀課程。
15. 問︰催眠師的進修階段？不同時數規定？
答︰本中心獨設不同的進修時數，以確保學員符合不同學會的要求及掌握催眠的知識。

16. 問︰是否每人也適合接受催眠？
答︰催眠只是芸芸輔導手法其中一種。據《 Trancework : An Introduction to the Practice of Clinical Hypnosis》 一書研究，坊間現有多於 400多種輔導手法，而催眠治療是一套有系統的個人探索及問題解決方案，透過深度探索案主的潛意識，從中了解案主問題的根源，從而與案主共同制定有效的解決方案去達致案主想要的效果，長期和足夠深度(6級深度)的催眠治療亦可以在案主同意下改變潛意識去解決問題或尋找問題的根源。至於在對象方面，事實上並非每個人也適合使用催眠作治療。
催眠的適用對象同下:
1) 具有一定催眠敏感度(測試)的人士，如沒想像力與對催眠抗拒，不能接受催眠。
2) 接受過諮商輔導或藥物治療等方式仍無法獲得幫助的個案。
3) 對於傳統心理治療有抗拒之個案，可嘗試催眠治療。
4) 經心理醫生建議及轉介之個案，可嘗試催眠治療。
所以除了催眠外，亦可嘗試其他適合自己的方法，如︰家庭治療、繪畫心理分析等，以作內心探索的工具。本中心除催眠的輔導工作外，亦由持牌的社工及心理學家提供不同的輔導服務。
